PROBLEM
The coffee cream is dark in colour
and is dispensed too slowly.
The coffee has an acidic taste.
The milk does not froth when ma-
king a cappuccino.
Too much water remains in the fil-
ter after brewing.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The ground coffee has been pres-
sed too firmly.
The boiler outlet is blocked.
Too much coffee has been used.
The coffee is too finely ground.

The machine was not rinsed tho-
roughly after descaling.
The milk is not cold enough.
The Steam/hot water nozzle is dir-
ty.

SOLUTION
Press the coffee less.
Clean the boiler outlet as 'clea-
ning'.
Decrease the quantity.
Use the coffee suitable for espres-
so machines.

Flush the machine with clean wa-
ter and rinse all components, see
'descaling'.
Always use milk from the refrige-
rator. And try milk with a different
fat content.
Clean the Steam/hot water nozzle.

Fill the boiler with water as 'Before
using for the first time'.
To press on the powder tightly.
Increase the quantity of coffee as 7
grams (1 full spoon) per cup .
