Upper Body Support Pillow
• The upper body support
pillow MAY be used with
children weighing 5-20
lbs (2.3- 9 kg) rear-
facing. DO NOT use upper
body support pillow with
children weighing over
20 lbs (9 kg) rear-facing.
• DO NOT use upper
body support pillow in a
forward facing position,
except it MUST be used
for lap belt only (Type
1) installation forward-
facing under 25 lbs
(11.3 kg).
Lower Infant Insert
IMPORTANT:
lower infant insert must be
used for children weighing
22 lbs (10 kg) or less in a
rear-facing position. Do
not use over 22 lbs (10 kg)
or in a forward-facing
position.
Recline Handle
This child restraint has six (6) recline positions.
To adjust the recline position:
Lightly push down

on the seat pan and
squeeze the recline
handle then rotate the
child restraint shell until
the recline indicator
ball is in the correct
position for the specific
installation (see Recline
Indicator on next page).
Release the recline

child restraint has locked
into position.
