5.4 CONNECTIONS
The instrument must be connected to the User's supply network in order to be used.
Guaranteeing the required connection characteristics is the User's responsibility.
5.4.1 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Electrocution hazard.
The main switch on the electrical panel must be in the 0-OFF position before
proceeding with the electrical connection of the instrument.
INFORMATION
The user must ensure the conformity of the connection between the instrument and
the earthing system.
Check the following conditions before proceeding with the electrical connection of the instrument:
The values of the instrument's supply frequency and voltage must match the values of the User's

supply network.
The power supply line must be suitable for withstanding the instrument's maximum consumption.

The earthing of the circuit must comply with the relevant regulations in force in the country of

installation.
The materials used in the earthing system are sturdy enough or have suitable mechanical

protection.
To make connections to the electrical network, proceed as described below:
STEP ACTION
Connect the instrument's power plug to a power outlet suitable for the power characteristics
described in this manual.
