6.1 OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES
6.1.1 PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Carry out the following checks before commissioning the instrument:
Check the presence of all safety devices.

Check the operation of the safety devices.
•
Check that there are no obstructions and/or obstacles around the instrument and in the transit

areas.
Check the correct connection of the instrument to the power supply.
•
Check the correct positioning of the instrument in the workplace.
•
Check that no maintenance personnel are working on the instrument.

Risk of damage to the instrument.

regarding the operation of the instrument.
6.1.3 SWITCHING OFF THE INSTRUMENT
INFORMATION
Refer to the 'Electronic Terminal Manual' enclosed with this manual for the location
of the instrument controls.
To shut down the instrument, proceed as described below:
STEP ACTION
1 Wait for any weighing in progress.
2 Turn the master switch to 0-OFF.
CAUTION
In particular, do not use loads exceeding the maximum capacity of the
instrument.
Do not spill any aggressive substances that are not compatible with the
materials that the platform is made of.
