8. DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL
INFORMATION
Only authorised personnel may carry out the decommissioning and disposal of the
instrument.
8.1 DECOMMISSIONING
Decommissioning is necessary in case of prolonged non-use of the instrument.
To decommission the instrument , proceed as described below:
STEP ACTION
1 Turn the master switch to 0-OFF.
2 Remove any product from the weighing platform.
Unplug the power plug from the socket it is connected to.

NOTE: Refer to the Connections paragraph.
Carry out a general cleaning of the instrument.

Store the instrument and its components in a dry place, protected from the weather and

excessive changes in temperature and humidity.
6 Cover the instrument with a breathable cloth.
