Functional description
Balancing of the individual pipelines is carried out with the presetting on the
handwheel. The presetting can be blocked using the clips located inside the
handwheel (see Fig. 4 on page 45).
Flow regulation is done by limiting the valve stroke and hence the opening
between plug and seat.
The low thread pitch allows very precise setting.
The plug position is shown on the front of the handwheel on a scale from 0.0
(closed) to 5.0 (fully open) in increments of 0.05.

Refer to the fl ow charts for the required preset values.
The presetting is blockable and lead-sealable.
The double regulating valves can be used in both in the supply and the return
pipe. The double regulating valve can be used as a partner valve for a differential
pressure regulator (for more information, see operating instructions of the
