3. Product description
3.1 Description of the Swing Maxi breast pump
The Swing Maxi is a personal-use electric breast pump that includes 2-Phase Expression
®
technology and is capable of single and double pumping. It consists of a pump unit, two
pump sets (breast shield, connector and bottle) and a tubing.

Only the parts of the pump set come into contact with the breast or milk. The pump unit gener-
ates an intermittent vacuum. For milk expression, the tubing conveys the resulting air flow via a
membrane, which separates the milk from the pulsing air, to the breast.

The operating life of the Swing Maxi breast pump is 275 hours.
