8. Change the tension cables from A and/or B and/or C from the actual phase, making
a combination until it shows "123" on the display, indicates that the phase's sequence
is correct.
9. Put the current sensor in the direction Line –>Charge. The arrow drawing on the
current sensor shows the current flux direction.
10. Connect the current sensor identified by the ring 1 or tag A to the same phase
where the tension cable of the P -600 identified by the ring A is connected. Repeat the
operation for the other sensors B and C.
11. Press the navigation keys until the screen "Pot. Active and Apar."
Check if the power active is positive or in the screen "Direct energy" if the blinking
arrow is pointing to the right. If the flux is inverted the power active in the screen will be
negative and the blinking arrow will be pointing to the left, indicates that the direction is
reverse (Charge –>Line).
12. Repeat item 11 till positioning correctly the current sensors.
Obs.:
If all the tension cables A, B and C were put in the same phase, for instance
connected to a power source, the equipment will show "123" at random, this happens
because there is a limitation in the trigonometric. Calculi performed by the CPU. To
analyze and determinate the correct sequence the system must be triphasic.
5. FUNCTIONING
The PowerNET P-600 when energized shows initial screen with all informations related
to the equipment, name, serial number and firmware version. After starting, the
equipment enters in operation mode, and the standard screen "Triphasic
measurement" is visualized.
To visualize other measurements in the display utilize the keys go to left or right There
are 4 keys with specific functions when operating:
Shows the calendar (date, time, day of the week, battery status).
Shows the free memory, registries number, and area name and memory
status. Valid and invalid registries
Shows the standard screen with the measurements total or triphasic for
tension, current, power factor and power.
In the operation mode this key is utilized for activate the keyboard second
function; these are the keys F1 to F6.
The tension and current signals are readed in the network cycle for each input
channel and synchronized through the phase identified as A, which is defined as
reference phase. After the samples acquiring, the equipment calculates the electrical
high power to be able to visualize and/or registered in memory.
The lower registry interval is 250ms, when the harmonics registries are not enabled
and 5 seconds when the harmonics registries are enabled. This happens because the
processing is "heavier" when the CPU is calculates the THD and Harmonics variables.
