When analyzing the software has the capacity to generate graphics of the
measurements, lack of energy reports, tension, current, power factor, energy
consumption, and demand at the tip and out the tip, tension violation among others. To
utilize the analysis software follows the instructions contained in the program help
topics.
8.1. MINIMUM CONFIGURATION
The IMS recommends the following minimum CONFIGURATION:
§ Processor: Pentium II 233MHz.
§ 64MB Memory RAM.
§ Windows 98, 2000 or XP.
8.2. INSTALLING
To INSTALLING the analyzer software:
§ Insert the analyzer CD into the reading unit.
§ The INSTALLING program will start automatically, follow carefully the
instructions
§ In case the program do not start automatically, click on the Windows Start
button and click execute. In the dialog box, type D:\p600\disk1\setup.exe (assuming
that "D" is your CD-ROM unit).
§ Click OK, the disk will be accessed in the unit and will start the Installing
program.
9. TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problems with your PowerNET P-600, check before the following
questions, if you need additional help get in touch with the IMS technical support.

Check the connections.
Check if the phases sequence is correct.
Check the current direction of the sensor or CT and the PT polarity
The connection type configured (delta or star).
Check if the current sensors are connected.
Check if the applied tension at the feeding input is within the specified
range and if the fuse is in perfect condition. To check the fuses retire
the four screws from the panel.
Check the equipment auxiliary feeding.
Check if the cable is connected between the PowerNET P -600 and the
Microcomputer.
Check if the network address and the communication speed are the
same configured on the analyzer software.
Check if the microcomputer serial port configuration on the ANALYZER
SOFTWARE is the one connected to the serial cable (COM1, COM2,
...).
Check if the cable identified as A is connected to the network and if the
level of applied tension is larger than 50Vca.
If the connection type is configured as Delta:
Check if each measurement cable is connected to the appropriate
phase (A, B, C). if all the cables are in the same phase configure the
connection type for Star.
