6:1 Standard and approval
3M Svenska AB hereby declares that 3M™
PELTOR™ Tactical Earplug is in compliance
with the essential requirements and other
relevant provisions of the PPE directive 89/686/
EEC, the EMC directive 2004/108/EC and the
RoHS directive 2011/65/EU. It thereby fulfills
the requirements for CE marking. A copy of the
declaration of conformity can be obtained by
contacting 3M in the country of purchase. For
contact information, see the last pages of this
user instruction.
The product has been tested and approved
in accordance with EN 352-2:2002, EN
352-7:2002, EN 61000-6-2:2005, EN 61000-6-
4:2007 + A1:2011 and EN 50581:2012.
The product has been examined by:

6:3 Explanation of the table criterion levels
(Table H)
Criterion level is the sound pressure level in
dB(A) of the noise environment resulting in 85
dB(A) effective to the ear while wearing the
hearing protectors. Three different criterion
levels are defined related to the frequency
content of the noise.
H = criterion level for high-frequency noise.
M = criterion level for medium-frequency noise.
L = criterion level for low-frequency noise.
