Photometry Area

In flash modes without the letter "E," this camera
executes automatic photometry before photographing
the subject. Necessary adjustments, including exposure
and white balance, are done automatically. Out of the
entire range to be photographed (VGA (S): 640 × 480
pixels, SXGA (Hi-1, Hi-2): 1280 × 960 pixels), the
area subject to the photometry is shown in gray.
