5 - How to safely use the Pressure Cooker
• Always make sure there is
enough liquid to produce
steam during cooking.
However, never exceed the
maximum limit indicated in the
cooker, considering water and
food, in accordance with the
image alongside;
• Always check the internal protection of the working valve (metal filter - fig.
14) is clean to avoid any kind of blockage that would prevent steam from
escaping. Also check to see if the silicone protection cover (fig. 18), part of
the pressure indication system, is clean.
• When closing the cooker, make sure the arrow located on the lid is pointing
towards the arrow located on the handle or handhold. Adjust the lid to the
cooker body, turning it clockwise until it is fully aligned with the cooker
handles or handholds. This will indicate that the cooker is completely closed
(fig. 4 to 6);
• If the lid is not fully closed, the cooker's closing safety valve will not
be activated, thus inhibiting the cooker from reaching its operating
pressure. Therefore, make sure the lid is properly closed.
• IMPORTANT: in order to avoid accident risks when handling the cooker,
hot or cold, always hold it by the handle (fig. 7) or handholds (fig. 8).
