Working valve (pressure release):
• After each use, open the cooker and remove the metal filter. Carefully
check and wash it to remove any residues (fig. 14);
• Check the steam release hole against the light, making sure no
blockage has occurred (fig. 15). If blockage has occurred, remove
it with hot water and, if necessary, use the recommended tool that
comes with the product to unblock the passage (fig. 16).
Safety Valve:
• After every use check to make sure
the safety valve (indicated in the
image alongside) is clean. If it is
dirty, wash it with hot water.
Pressure indication system:
• Before each use, always manually check that the pressure indication
system's pin can move freely (fig. 17);
• After each use, wash the inner silicone cap of the pressure indication
system with hot water;
• If the inner silicone cap of the pressure indicator pin is damaged
during use, follow the instructions below:
- Carefully remove it so as not to damage the other parts of the
pressure indication system;
- To facilitate the task of placing a new silicone cap in position, apply
a little water or oil to the indicator pin support (fig.18);
- Fit the new silicone cap over the pin support until it is completely
covered (page 11 - fig.19), taking care so that the internal end of
the silicone cap is firmly placed on the end of the pressure indicator
pin. (page 11 - fig. 20).
