BEHAVIOUR WHEN GATE MEETS AN OBSTACLE
The gate can detect an obstacle in two ways:
A- Detection by the additional safety device (photocell)
Interior photocell
A During opening
If, during the opening process, the interior photocell de-
tects an obstacle, the gate comes to a halt. Once the
obstacle disappears, the gate opens completely after a
few moments.
The flashing light goes off.
B During closing
If, during the closing process, the interior photocell is
activated, the gate comes to a halt. Once the obstacle
disappears, the gate opens completely after a few mo-
ments.
The flashing light goes off.
B- Direct detection (sensibility of the operator): VULCAN VUS model operator
(DIP12 ON, TOP9 only)
The ERREKA operator, VULCAN VUS model, is fitted
with a patented safety device which detects collisions.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
Erreka Automatismos declares that the AEP10-009/
TOP9 control panel has been designed for use in a ma-
chine or for assembly along with other elements in or-
der to form a machine in line with Directive 89/392 EEC
and successive modifications.
The AEP10-009/TOP9 control panel allows the carrying
out of installations in line with Standards EN13241-1
and EN 12453.

Exterior photocell
A During opening
The gate continues to open even when the exterior de-
vice detects an obstacle.
B During closing
If, during the closing process, the exterior device is ope-
rated, the operator comes to a halt and the gate begins
to open immediately.
During closing it causes a halt and inversion of the
movement.
During opening it causes an immediate halt.
The AEP10-009/TOP9 control panel complies with safe-
ty legislation, in line with the following directives and
regulations:
• 73/23 EEC and successive modification 93/68 EEC
• 89/366 EEC and successive modifications 92/31 EEC
and 93/68 EEC
• UNE-EN 60335-1
