PLAYBACK
Connect the supplied headphones.
2 Set the OUTPUT switch to the HP po-
sition.
3 Insert a cassette.
See page 24.
4 Press the II
PLAY/PAUSE button.
Playback starts.
5 Adjust the volume with the HP VOL
control.
When adjusting the volume with the VOL
control on the remote conirol, set the HP VOL.
control on the main unit to 4-6.
Basic operations
Press the i STOP button.
To pause
Press the B> Il PLAY/PAUSE
button.
Press it again to resume play-
back.
To fast forward | Press the >>] FF button Jin
stop mode.
To rewind
Press the ké€ REW button in
stop mode.
@ If the unit is not operated for more than 10 min-
utes in pause mode, pause is cancelled, the tape
stops and the power turns off.
Double-speed playback
Hold down the B= Ill PLAY/PAUSE button for more
than 1 second in step 4 above. To return to the
normal speed, press the BI PLAY/PAUSE but-
ton briefly.
