Rechargeable Battery
When the rechargeable battery is used for the first
time or after a long period of time, charge the
battery fully.
1 Open the rechargeable battery com-.
partment.
2 Insert the rechargeable battery.
3 Connect the AC adaptor.

Charging is completed when the F (green) BATT
signal turns off. (It takes about 1 hour and 30 min-
utes to fully recharge a discharged battery.)
Rechargeable battery life
The rechargeable battery life is approximately 2
hours 10 minutes for recording, and approximately
3 hours for playback.
Rechargeable battery condition
The BATT signal changes as below according to
the condition of the battery.

The battery needs recharging when the E (red)
BATT signal lights up. If you continue to use the
unit, the E (red) BATT signal goes off and the unit
turns off in about 30 seconds.
If the BATT signal does not light up in step
3 above
The battery is fully charged. You can use it with-
out recharging.
