6. Commissioning, operation
Temperature load
WARNING!
Ensure in the final application, that the instrument, even with
medium temperatures > 70 °C, is not heated to over 70 °C.
Make sure that the permissible operating temperature of the meas-
uring instrument during mounting is maintained, considering the
influence of convection and thermal radiation!
Protect the instrument and the shut-off valve by using sufficiently
long measuring lines or syphons.
Observe the influence of temperature on the indication and meas-
urement accuracy.
The effective maximum surface temperature is not only dependant
upon these instruments, but mainly on the respective medium tem-
perature! With gaseous substances, the temperature may increase
as a result of compression warming.
In these cases it may be necessary to throttle the rate of change of
pressure or reduce the permissible medium temperature.
