Fan installation
3. Unpack the ceiling fan carefully, remove all parts and components and place it on a cloth or
soft surface to prevent damage. Do not lay the motor housing on its sides to avoid damage
to the housing. Before starting the installation, check that no parts are missing.
Warning: to avoid electric shock, all electrical operations should only be carried out after
disconnecting the power by removing the fuses or turning off the circuit breaker.
NOTE: in case of installing the ceiling fan to a wooden beam, 4 self-tapping screws should be
enough to support the weight (Fig. 6).
4. Screw the mounting bracket to the ceiling and make sure all connections are secure to
prevent the fan from falling. Loosen the two canopy screws from the mounting bracket.
Warning: self-tapping screws are only suitable for wooden ceilings. In case of installing
the ceiling fan to concrete ceilings or joists, use a drill for making the holes and stoppers or
expansion bolts (not included).
5. Loosen the hanging ball screws until the ball slides down the downrod. Remove the
downrod pin (Fig. 7).

7.
Loosen the screws of the mounting bracket and then place the downrod in the mounting
bracket
8. Pass the fan wires and the earth wire through the downrod. (Fig. 9) Align the holes in the
clevis pin of the downrod with the holes in the bracket.
9. Make sure to insert the straight part of the clevis pin through the hole in the end of the
clevis pin and press until the crimped part snaps into position. Finally, retighten the screws.
Warning: It is very important that the mounting bracket pin is correctly installed and that the
screws are tightened securely. If the pin, clevis, or screws are not correctly positioned, the fan
may fall down.
10. Hang the fan on the mounting bracket (Fig. 10).
11. Fix the lamp bracket to the motor with 3 screws and then fix the lampshade with 4 screws
(Fig. 11).
Please note: before fitting the bulb (not included), make sure that the fan is not connected to
the mains.
