1 Forced ejection hole
If the disc tray does not open even after pressing the eject button, the disc tray can be
opened by inserting a long, narrow item such as the end of a large paper clip into this hole.
In normal use, open the disc tray by using the eject button.
When using the forced ejection hole, ensure that the power is turned off, and wait for
at least one minute for disc rotation to stop.
2 Busy indicator (BUSY)
Indicates the operational status as follows.
Reading
Writing
Tray opening/closing
3 Eject button (h)
Opens and closes the disc tray.
4 Disc tray
Press the eject button to open the disc tray, and with the label side facing up, place a disc in
the tray aligned with the grooves.
Press the eject button, or lightly push the front of the tray to close it.
Do not forcefully pull the disc tray open.
