What is interpolation?
Audio data that cannot
be read because of
scratches or other
damage is created by
inference from sounds
before and after it. This
sound will be degraded
compared to the original
sound.

BDR-S13E-X
This mode works to acquire and reproduce the original sound as much
as possible, but if it encounters audio data that cannot be completely
reproduced, it interpolates that data and continues with acquisition.
This mode reproduces the original sound, and if it encounters audio data
that cannot be completely reproduced, it stops and halts acquisition.
This mode carries out normal acquisition of music CD data. If there is a
scratch that prevents reading, interpolation will occur.
