Functional description
Balancing of the individual pipelines is carried out with
the presetting on the handwheel. The presetting can be
blocked using the clip located inside the handwheel (see
Fig. 3 on page 38).
Flow regulation is done by limiting the valve stroke and
hence the opening between plug and seat.
The low thread pitch allows very precise setting.
The plug position is shown on the top side of the
handwheel on a scale from 0.0 (closed) to 4.85 (fully open)
in increments of 0.05. The measuring function on the
HydroPort auxiliary valves, via a fi xed orifi ce metering
station, allows simultaneous measurement and setting.
