The Tracpode PRO bracket for the Blocfor R
EN
EVO is tested to ensure it can hold the weight
of an operator equipped with his tools and
equipment up to 150 kg.
The Blocfor R EVO devices are self-retracting
fall protection systems in accordance with
EN 360; see section 4 of the Blocfor R EVO -
EN 360 manual attached to the equipment.
The Blocfor R EVO devices are equipped with
a rescue device by lifting up or down (EN 1496
class B): The recovery function allows the
rescuer to raise and/or lower the operator after
a fall. It is used vertically when installed on the
Tracpode PRO bracket.
This device must be disengaged when the
Blocfor is in fall arrest use.
• When rescuing an operator downwards,
EN 1496 standard class B limits the descent
to 2 m.
• To descend a greater length, it is necessary to
use a descender that conforms to EN 341.
• However, a specific additional test, based
on Tractel specifications, carried out by an
independent
authorisation to operate a downward descent
on the entire length of the self-retracting
lanyard of the Blocfor R EVO devices.
4.1.2. Tracpode PRO bracket for the caRol R
PRO12 and caRol Duratech 150
The Tracpode PRO bracket for the caRol R
PRO 12 and caRol Duratech 150 may only be
used in conjunction with a caRol R PRO 12 or a
caRol Duratech 150.
The Tracpode PRO bracket for the caRol R
PRO 12 and caRol Duratech 150 comprises
(Fig. 2.b):
a) 1 galvanised steel bracket complete with
pin and safety pin
b) 2 M8 galvanised steel screws
c) 4 M8 galvanised steel washers
d) 2 M8 galvanised steel lock nuts.

PRO20 and caRol R TS150
The Tracpode PRO bracket for the caRol R
PRO 20 and caRol R TS150 may only be used
in conjunction with a caRol R PRO 20 or caRol
R TS150 device.
The Tracpode PRO bracket for the caRol R
PRO 20 and caRol R TS150 comprises (Fig. 2.c):
a) 1 galvanised steel bracket complete with
pin and safety pin
b) 4 M8 galvanised steel screws
c) 8 M8 galvanised steel washers
d) 4 M8 galvanised steel lock nuts.
NOTE: Only two screws, four washers and
two nuts are needed to secure the caRol R PRO
20 winch.
4.2. Systems
4.2.1. Blocfor R EVO
The Tractel Blocfor R EVO is a self-retracting
fall-arrest system that complies with the
EN 360 standard. It is equipped with a
rescue function that complies with standard
EN 1496 class B. For further information on this
the
system, please refer to the manual supplied with
it.
4.2.2. caRol R PRO12
The caRol R PRO12 comprises (Fig. 2d):
a) 1 painted steel winch body with its 12 m
galvanised steel cable
b) 1 crank handle fitted with its operating
handle
c) 1 crank handle holding washer
d) 1 crank handle clamping nut.
Usage in rescue lifting
The caRol R PRO12 winch is a winch which is an
EN 1496 class A elevation rescue device. In this
configuration, its maximum capacity is 150 kg.
This winch enables the rescuer to evacuate the
operator upwards after a fall.
