BATTERY PACK AND CHARGING
BATTERY PACK
The battery pack with the saw is supplied uncharged to prevent problems during transport. You must, therefore, charge
it before using the saw.
WARNING: Always remove the battery pack from your saw when you are fitting parts, making adjustments,
attaching or removing a blade, cleaning or when you are not using your saw. Removing the battery pack will prevent
the saw starting accidentally and causing serious personal injury.

KNOW YOUR MITRE SAW
See Figure 4.
Before attempting to use your saw, familiarise yourself with its operation and all safety instructions.
WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with your saw to make you over-confident. Remember that a moment
of inattention is sufficient to inflict severe injury.
10.2
210 mm BLADE
A 210 mm saw blade is supplied with your mitre saw. It will cut materials up to 52 mm thick or 140 mm wide, depending
upon the thickness of the material and the type of cut being made.
10.3
CUTTING CAPACITY
For a mitre of 0° and bevel of 0°:
Your saw will cut materials up to a maximum of 139.7 mm wide x 52.4 mm thick.
For a mitre of 45° and bevel of 0°:
Your saw will cut materials up to a maximum of 95.2 mm wide x 52.4 mm thick.
For a mitre of 0° and bevel of 45°:
Your saw will cut materials up to a maximum of 139.7 mm wide x 38.1 mm thick.
For a mitre of 45° and bevel of 45°:
Your saw will cut materials up to a maximum of 95.2 mm wide x 38.1 mm thick.
