12.15 CUTTING A WARPED WORKPIECE

When cutting a warped workpiece, always ensure that it is positioned on the mitre table with the convex side against the
fence as shown in figure 39. If the warped workpiece is put the wrong way round as shown in figure 40, the kerf will pinch
the blade near the end of the cut.
WARNING: To avoid kickback and serious personal injury, never put the concave edge of a bowed or warped
workpiece against the fence.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Only manufacturer's original replacement parts must be used. Using any other spare part may
be dangerous or damage your saw.
Do not use solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics may be damaged by commonly available solvents. Use a
clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluid, petrol, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc. come
in contact with the plastic parts. These may contain substances that can damage, weaken or destroy plastics.
Do not overload your saw. Forcing your saw can damage it as well as the workpiece.
WARNING. Do not attempt to modify this saw or use accessories that are not recommended for use with this saw.
Any such alteration or modification is considered to be misuse and may be dangerous and lead to serious personal
injury.
