• Regularly inspect pressing attachments for
defects and damage before and after every use.
Inspect the pressing jaws particularly for incipient
cracks in the pressing contour and on the flanges.
• If there are incipient cracks: take the pressing
attachments out of service immediately, label
them as defective and do not use them again.
Avoiding damage to Geberit pressing
attachments caused by faulty pressing
operations
Geberit pressing attachments can be damaged by
faulty pressing operations or use; for example, if
foreign bodies are pressed along with the pressfitting.
• Only use Geberit adapter jaws and pressing
collars that carry the same compatibility mark.
• Do not tilt the pressing attachments on the pressfitting.
• Hook the claws of the adapter jaw into the
pressing collar correctly.
