• If you suspect that the pressing attachment is
damaged, replace it and have the damaged pressing
attachment tested by an authorised repair shop.
Using personal protective equipment
Without suitable protective equipment, people
may be seriously injured or killed by flying
fragments from Geberit pressing attachments.
• Wear a protective helmet, protective goggles
and safety shoes during the pressing procedure.
Maintenance and repairs only to be
carried out by repair shops
Geberit pressing tools and Geberit pressing
attachments that are not maintained, or are not
professionally maintained, can cause serious
accidents.
• It is imperative that users comply with the date
of the next maintenance inspection, stated on
the service sticker.
• Maintenance and repair work may only be
performed by authorised repair shops.
• Perform maintenance on the Geberit pressing
tool and Geberit pressing attachments according
to instructions. → See "Maintenance", page 67.
