Safety instructions
DANGER
Risk of injury, explosion and damage
Observe the following safety instructions when handling
the device.
● The electrical connection must be made outside the
hazardous area.
● The included accessories are electrically conduc-
tive. Only the accessories listed in the appendix
(standard accessories / special accessories) may
be used!
● Do not vacuum without filter elements in place, oth-
erwise the suction motor will be damaged and there
will be a health risk due to increased fine dust emis-
sions!
● Observe the safety regulations for the materials be-
ing vacuumed. During proper/improper operation,
parts (e.g. air outlet) of the vacuum cleaner can
reach up to 105 °C.
● The minimum ignition temperature (MIT) of the dust
cloud is ≥160 °C and the MIT of dust with a dust
thickness of 5 mm is ≥180 °C.
● The use of an extension cord is prohibited.

Danger from dust that is harmful to your health
Respiratory sicknesses through inhalation of dust.
Do not vacuum without correctly installed filter ele-
ments, otherwise a danger to health from increased fine
dust emission is present.
Note
Additional regulations may apply to dusts with an igni-
tion energy of less than 1 mJ.

4. Attach the desired accessory.
The device is equipped with a suction power monitor. If
the air speed in the suction hose drops below a speed
of 20 m/s, the "vacuum pressure" indicator light flashes
red (see Help with malfunctions).
Note
The indicator light can light up intermittently during nor-
mal operation (e.g.when working with a floor nozzle)
when the air quantity is reduced (cross-section reduc-
tion) and the vacuum pressure increases as a result.

Note
In these cases, however, it is not a defect, but an indica-
tion that the air quantity has reduced and the vacuum
pressure has increased, as indicated above.
Static charges are discharged through the earthed con-
nection nozzles. This prevents sparking and electric
shocks with electrically conducting accessories (includ-
ed in the scope of delivery).

Note
All types of dust up to dust class H can be vacuumed
with this device. The use of a dust collection bag (for or-

The device is an industrial vacuum cleaner for vacuum-
ing dry, conducting, combustible dusts with workplace
limit values (AGW).
