Do not use any tool that is damaged or not op-
erating correctly. Label the tool as defective and
remove it from the working area to prevent its
further use. Be careful when handling fasteners,
especially during loading and unloading be-
cause the fasteners have sharp tips, which could
lead to injuries.
Before use, always check the tool for broken,
incorrectly connected or worn parts.
Avoid an abnormal bodily posture. Only use the
tool in a secure work station. Ensure that you can
always maintain a safe standing position and
maintain your balance at all times.
Keep bystanders and children away (if you are
working in an area, in which the movement of
people is likely). Clearly mark your working area.
Never point the tool towards yourself or towards
other persons. Unintended activations could
cause serious accidents. Ensure that the outlet
opening is not directed towards people when
you are connecting the tool, loading and
unloading fasteners or performing other similar
processes.
Do not leave your finger on the trigger when
you are lifting the tool, moving it between
working areas and positions or when you are
walking with the tool because this could result in
unintentional triggering. With tools with selective
activation, the tool must always be checked prior
to use to ensure that the correct mode has been
selected.
Only wear gloves that offer appropriate tactile
sensitivity and ensure safe control of the trigger
and all adjustment devices.
When not using, remove the battery and fuel cell.
You can find detailed information for correct
maintenance in the tool maintenance instructions
(maintenance/care). Only qualified personnel
can repair the tool using parts that are supplied
or recommended by Würth or equivalent parts of
the same quality.
Do not smoke on your workplace and keep
the device away from naked flames or electric
sparks.
The device must not be operated in a wet or
damp environment. Do not expose the device to
rain. Before use, check the tool for the following:
• Use a suitable power source, see Technical
Data.
• Flawless condition of the tool.
• For which activation system the tool is set and
how it functions.

Safety instructions
• No incorrect alignment or jamming of moving
parts.
• Compliance with all conditions for the correct
and safe operation of the tool.
• That before use of the tool all screws and bolts
are tightened and have been correctly attached.
Loose or incorrectly attached screws or bolts
would cause accidents and damage to the tool
upon start-up.
• Frequently check the operation of the workpiece
contact. Do not use the tool if it is not working
correctly, otherwise this could result in uninten-
tional firing of a fastener. Do not impede the
correct functioning of the workpiece contact.
Do not remove any tool control elements (e.g.
trigger, workpiece contact), do not modify them
and do not render them inoperative in any other
way.
Do not use the tool, if a part that belongs to the
tool control elements (e.g. trigger, workpiece
contact), is not operational, is disconnected, has
been modified or is not working correctly.
Always assume that the tool contains fasteners.
Only activate the tool when it is firmly against the
workpiece.
Respect the tool as working equipment.
Do not play around with the tool.
Remain alert, concentrate on the work and apply
common sense when working with the tools.
Do not use the tool if you are tired,
have consumed drugs or alcohol or are under
the influence of medicines.
Do not drive fasteners in above other fasteners.
This could result in the fasteners being deflected
leading to injuries.
After driving in a fastener, the tool may jump
back ("recoil"), which means it moves away from
the working surface. To reduce the risk of injury,
you should always be prepared for a recoil in the
following way:
• Always maintain control over the tool.
• Allow for the recoil in a controlled manner, so
that the tool can move away from the working.
surface.
• Keep your face and other body parts away from
the tool openings.
Take care when working near to the edge of a
working surface or at steep angles to prevent
ricocheting of fasteners, spalling, splintering or
flying apart, all of which could lead to injuries.
