2. Insert the gas cartridge [16] into the intake slot
with the dosing valve head up.
Note
Ensure that the nozzle [17] of the
dosing valve latches in to the red adapt-
er [18] on the device.
3. Close the cover [2].

Small amounts of combustible gas

may escape when the gas cartridge
is inserted.
Do not breath in gas, do not smoke.

Keep it away from naked flames or
sparks.
If the smell of gas remains
perceptible after the gas cartridge
has been inserted, remove the gas
cartridge immediately and identify
the cause.
Note
The gas cartridge is not emptied
completely. In addition to fuel gas, the
gas cartridge also contains compressed
gas, which is used for pressure compen-
sation. There is always a small residual
amount of this pressure gas in the gas
cartridge for technical reasons.

Removing blockages

Remove blockages with a suitable

tool.

equipment.

Remove the battery [7] from the device.
▸
Pull the cocking slide [9] back until the cocking
slide release [10] latches in.
▸
Remove the tangled nail or staple with some
pliers, if necessary.
▸
If necessary, release the two fastening screws
[Fig. I / 14] from the top part of the magazine.
— Open the magazine in a forward direction.
— Fold the magazine back into the position be-
neath the nose of the device.
▸
After removing the blockage, retighten the Allen
screws.
— When doing so, ensure a tightening torque of
4.5 Nm to max. 5 Nm.
▸
You can reinsert the battery.
Note
The device deactivates automatically
and does not automatically restart.
To reactivate, remove and reinsert the
battery.
▸
Reinsert the magazine strips.
▸
Actuate the cocking slide release [10] and move
the magazine strip back until it is against the
staple strip.
The device is ready for use again.
