NOTE: Descaling agents contain acids which can attack parts of the appliance and discolour
the laundry.
Checking the water supply hose
Check the water supply hose at least once a year. If there are cracks, it should be replaced
immediately, during the wash cycle, the water pressure is very strong, and a cracked water
supply hose could easily open.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser tank
If there is a build-up of residual detergent or additives, or if the softener compartment is
not rinsed well enough, the dispenser must be cleaned to avoid water overflows due to
blockages. Fig. 18
1. Open the detergent dispenser. Press down the tab (1) and pull the dispenser (2)
completely out of the washer-dryer housing.
2. Remove the liquid detergent cap (3) by holding it and pulling it upwards from the
detergent dispenser.
3. Clean the lid and the dispenser itself under running water. Lightly wipe off any remaining
detergent residue.
4. Replace the cap and reinsert the dispenser back into place.
Tip: do not operate the appliance without the detergent dispenser in place. If the appliance is
not in use, always keep the dispenser closed.
Warning
Do not use alcohol, solvents, or chemical products.
You can use a soft brush to remove detergent residues adhering to the dispenser.
Cleaning the mesh filter in the water supply hose and the water inlet valve
1. 1.- Close the tap (stopcock) and unscrew the water supply hose (Fig. 19).
2. Carefully clean the mesh filter at the end of the hose with a fine brush (Fig. 20).
3. Now unscrew the water supply hose at the back of the appliance by hand. Remove the
mesh filter from the water inlet valve at the back of the appliance with needle-nose pliers
(be careful not to damage it) and clean it carefully (Fig. 21).
4. Reinsert the mesh filter back into the back of the washer dryer. Reconnect the water
supply hose to the tap and to the appliance. Do not use a tool to connect the inlet hose.
Open the water tap and check that all connections are tight (Fig. 22).
