– Remove spent batteries from the device
immediately.
– Remove the batteries from the device if
you do not intend to use it for a long peri-
od of time.
– Replace all of the old batteries in a device
with new batteries of the same type.
– Cover the contacts of the batteries with
sticky tape if you want to store or dispose of
them.
– If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before insertion.
– If the batteries have leaked, wear protec-
tive gloves and clean the contacts thor-
oughly.

4.1. DVD player (optional)
The DVD player is a Class 1 laser pro-
duct. The device has a safety system
that prevents dangerous laser rays from
escaping during normal use. To avoid
eye injuries, never tamper with or da-
mage the safety system of the device.
