Pumping engine oil
Caution! The duration of continuous operation of the pump should not exceed 30 minutes. After this time, the
pump must be switched off and allowed to cool down completely.
Check the amount of oil in the oil sump in the vehicle documentation and prepare a waste oil tank with appro-
priate capacity. It is recommended to use a larger capacity tank. Start the vehicle's engine and heat the oil to
the temperature specifi ed in the technical data table. Stop the vehicle engine.
Place the pump on a fl at, level and hard surface so that it does not move spontaneously during pumping.
Carefully remove the oil dipstick. Oil on the dipstick can be hot, avoid contact with it. Insert a rigid suction
hose into the dipstick socket. The end of the hose should reach the bottom of the oil sump. Insert the end of
the larger diameter fl exible outlet hose into the waste oil tank. Make sure that the hose does not slip out of
the tank while pumping. If necessary, fasten the hose in a manner not limiting its diameter. Make sure that the
pump switch is in the off position – O and connect the power cord terminals to the battery terminals. Connect
the terminal clamps of the power cord keeping the correct polarity. The terminal clamp marked "+" should
be connected to the battery terminal marked "+". The terminal clamp marked "-" should be connected to the
battery terminal marked "-". Turn the pump on by fl ipping the switch to the "on" position - I. The pump will start
pumping oil. The pump operation should be supervised at all times. The oil pumping capacity depends on its
density, viscosity and battery capacity. The higher the density, viscosity and the lower the battery capacity, the
lower the pump capacity. If oil no longer escapes from the outlet hose, switch off the pump using the switch.
Dry-running the pump can lead to damage to the pump. Pull the inlet hose out of the dipstick connector and
place it in the tank with clean oil. Run the pump for the time necessary for clean oil to fl ow out of the outlet
hose. This will clean the inside of the pump. Leaving the pump with contaminated oil will shorten its service
life. Switch off the pump, disconnect the battery terminals, remove the ends of the hoses from the oil tanks,
and then proceed with maintenance.
Pumping diesel
Caution! The pumping of fl ammable fuels (petrol, liquid gas) or other fl ammable liquids is prohibited.
Pumping fl ammable fuels can cause an explosion or fi re.
The duration of continuous operation of the pump should not exceed 30 minutes. After this time, the pump
must be switched off and allowed to cool down completely.
Place the pump on a fl at, level and hard surface so that it does not move spontaneously during pumping. Place
the fl exible suction hose in the diesel tank. Place the drain hose in the target tank. Make sure that the hose
does not slip out of the tank while pumping. If necessary, fasten the hose in a manner not limiting its diameter.
Make sure that the pump switch is in the off position – O and connect the power cord terminals to the battery
terminals. Connect the terminal clamps of the power cord keeping the correct polarity. The terminal clamp
marked "+" should be connected to the battery terminal marked "+". The terminal clamp marked "-" should be
connected to the battery terminal marked "-". Turn the pump on by fl ipping the switch to the "on" position - I.
The pump will start pumping oil. The pump operation should be supervised at all times. If oil no longer escapes
from the outlet hose, switch off the pump using the switch. Dry-running the pump can lead to damage to the
pump. Disconnect the device from the battery terminals, remove the ends of the hoses from the oil tanks, and
then proceed with maintenance.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Warning! Ensure that the terminal clamps of the power cord are disconnected from the battery and the pump
switch is in the off position - O before carrying out maintenance.
Clean the housing of the pump with a slightly damp, soft cloth, then dry the housing or leave it to dry. Check the
permeability of the ventilation openings and, if necessary, clean it with a soft paint brush, a soft plastic brush
or a compressed air stream at a pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa. Do not use sharp objects, abrasives,
