5 red LEDs light up for
10 s, switch off for 10 s,

or
5 green LEDs flash every

No special indicator.
10 SWITCHING STANDBY MODE ON/OFF (FIGURE A2 + N2)
You must switch on standby mode in order to work with the mower.
Beforehand, please ensure that
there are one or two charged batteries in the battery compartment (see
chapter "Inserting the charged battery"),
Switching on standby mode (figure A2)
Press the on/off button (1).
The LED on the motor unit lights up green.
To mow, start up the blade motor within 120 seconds of switching on standby
mode (see chapter "Starting the blade motor").
To protect the battery or batteries, standby mode is switched off
automatically if the blade motor is not started within 120 seconds.
The LED on the motor unit goes out.
If the LED lights up in another colour, this is a fault that must be rectified straight
away (see chapter "Fault indicator") or contact an authorised specialist
workshop.

Self-maintenance
Switching off standby mode (figure A2)
Press the on/off button (1) again.
The LED on the motor unit goes out.
If you do not plan to use the device for a long time:
Remove the battery/batteries from the battery compartment N2.
11 CHANGING THE MOTOR SPEED (SWITCHING ENERGY-
SAVING MODE ON/OFF) (FIGURE F + H1)
The standard speed (TURBO) of the blade motor is 2800 revolutions per minute.
Adjustments to the motor speed can only be made when it is stopped.
To protect the battery and save energy, the speed can be lowered to 2400
revolutions per minute (ECO).
Switch off the motor F, wait until the cutter bar comes to a standstill.
Open the battery cover and hold it open.
In the motor unit, change the speed adjustment button from "TURBO" to
"ECO" H1.
Close the battery cover. Ensure that the cover closes automatically. Dirt and
grass residue can prevent this and must therefore be removed.
To start the motor (see chapter "STARTING THE MOTOR").
The mower still only mows with 2400 revolutions per minute.
Restoring the standard speed:
Switch off the motor F, wait until the cutter bar comes to a standstill.
Open the battery cover and hold it open.
In the motor unit, change the speed adjustment button from "ECO" to
"TURBO" H1.
Close the battery cover. Ensure that the cover closes automatically. Dirt and
grass residue can prevent this and must therefore be removed.
To start the motor (see chapter "STARTING THE MOTOR").
The mower mows with 2800 revolutions per minute again.
IMPORTANT
Only use the energy-saving mode in easy mowing conditions, such as on
short, dry grass and a lower mowing speed. Otherwise the cutting quality
may worsen or the ejection channel may become blocked.
12 STARTING THE MOTOR (FIGURE A2 + A3 + D)
Only start the motor when standing behind the mower.
Always place the mower on a level area which is not covered with high grass (if the
grass is too high it will block the start-up of the cutter bar and make the starting
process more difficult). When the motor is started, the machine must not be tilted
on end, if necessary it must be tilted by pressing the guide bar down so that the
cutting tool is pointing in the direction away from the user, but only as far as
absolutely necessary. As long as the device is not on all 4 wheels, both of your
hands must be on the top part of the bar.
Beforehand, please ensure that there are one or two charged batteries in the
battery compartment (see chapter "Inserting the charged battery").
We recommend that you use two batteries with the same capacity, with at
least 7.5 Ah (ideally 12.0 Ah) and the same level of charge.
If only one battery is used or batteries with less than 7.5 Ah capacity, only
80% of the motor power is available.
Press the on/off button on the motor unit to switch on standby mode
(see chapter "Switching standby mode on/off") A2.
To switch on the motor, first press and hold the motor start unlocking button
(1) A3.
With your other hand, pull the control bar (2) towards the top guide bar A3.
The control bar must remain held in this position during operation.
You can now let go of the motor start unlocking button.
The blade runs for as long as the safety control bar is kept pressed.
When you let go of the safety control bar, the blade motor and blade stop.
After you let go of the safety control bar, the device remains in standby mode
for 120 seconds – this is indicated by the LED light on the motor unit. As long
as this is lit, the blade motor can be started at any time by keeping the motor
start unlocking button held down and turning over the control bar again.
If the blade motor is not started again within 120 seconds, standby mode
switches off automatically to conserve the battery or batteries.
The LED on the motor unit goes out.
To start the blade motor, switch on standby mode again.
13 SWITCHING OFF THE MOTOR (FIGURE F + N2)
Release the safety control bar F.
Wait for the cutter bar to stop completely.
