Warning
Improper tire inflation will cause abnormal tread
wear and therefore threaten safety. Insufficient tire
inflation may cause tire slippage or disengage-
ment, or even wheel rim damage, which may result
in the motorcycle out of control and therefore
occurrence of danger.
Driving a motorcycle with a excessively worn tire is
very dangerous, which is not good to ground adhe-
sion and driving.
Air filter maintenance
Maintain the air filter regularly, and more frequently
if the motorcycle runs in a dusty or sandy area. The
air filter is located under the driver seat. Clean the
filter element according to the following steps:
• Remove the seat.
• Remove the fixing screw 1
on the side cover of the air
filter, and take out the air fil-
ter element;
• Soak the air filter element in
clean gear oil until it is satu-
rated, and then squeeze out excess oil.
• Reinstall the components in the reverse order of
removal.
Make sure that the air filter element is installed
firmly in the original position and is properly sealed.
Caution
Gasoline and low-flash-point solvent are highly
flammable substances and cannot be used to
clean the filter element.
If a motorcycle is used in a more humid or dusty
environment than usual, depending on the riding
conditions, shorten the filter element replacement or
cleaning interval. If the filter element is blocked,
damaged or dusty, the engine power drops obvi-
ously or the fuel consumption rises, replace the filter
element immediately. Do not wait until maintenance.
Starting the engine without an air filter will damage
the engine by trapping dust in the cylinders.
Coolant
Coolant: Please use genuine antifreeze coolant.
Using other non-compliant coolant/mixture will
cause damage to the engine.
