Adjustment of the drive chain (double swing
arm):
Every 1000km, adjust the drive
chain so that the chain sag is
28 to 35mm. Depending on
your driving situation, the chain
may need to be adjusted
frequently.
Please adjust the chain as follows:
(1) Support the motorcycle
with a support frame
(2) Loosen the rear axle nut
(3) Loosen the lock nut ②
(4) Rotate the adjusting bolt
③ to the right or left to
adjust the looseness of the chain between 28mm
and 35mm.
(5) Check the wheel alignment: In order to maintain
the correct alignment of the chain and the wheel,
concave scale marks are engraved on the chain
adjusters on the left and right sides of the rear
wheel. Please check and ensure that the
concave scale marks on both sides of the chain
are at the same level of scale marks, and confirm
the parallelism of the shaft and the flatness of the
chain wheel, as shown in the figure below. (Note:
A ruler or rope can also be used to check the
wheel alignment for correctness.)

(6) Tighten the left and right lock nuts. Re-tighten the
rear axle nut with a tightening torque of
100-140N.m. Check the wheel alignment again
and check the looseness of the chain at the
tightest position of the chain. Readjust if neces-
sary.
