When the engine is turned off and cooled, check the
coolant in the expansion pot. During the inspection,
make sure that the motorcycle is on the horizontal
plane and the motorcycle body is vertical. Remove
the small guard in the middle of the left side of the
vehicle, observe the coolant volume in the expan-
sion pot, and make sure that the coolant volume
remains between the MIN and MAX marks. If the
coolant level is below the MIN mark, remove the
expansion pot cap plug and add coolant, or add
coolant at QJMOTOR service.
Warning
Do not add the coolant until the engine is turned
off and cooled. To avoid burns, do not open the
coolant filler cap until the engine has cooled down.
The cooling system is under pressure. In some
cases, the coolant contains substances that are
flammable and, when ignited, produce an invisible
flame. Since the combustion of the leaked coolant
will cause severe burns, it is necessary to avoid
the leakage of the coolant on the motorcycle parts
with high temperature.
Warning
Because coolant is a highly toxic liquid, avoid
contact with and inhalation of coolant, and keep it
away from children and livestock. If coolant is
inhaled, seek medical advice immediately. If skin
or eyes come into contact with coolant, wash
immediately with clean water.
Catalytic converter
In order to meet the requirements for environmental
emissions, the muffler of this model is equipped with
a catalytic converter.
The catalytic converter contains precious metals as
catalysts, which can purify harmful substances in
motorcycle exhaust, including carbon monoxide,
hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides, and convert
them into harmless carbon dioxide, water and nitro-
gen through chemical reactions.
Due to the importance of the catalytic converter, a
faulty catalytic converter can contaminate the air
and impair the performance of your engine. If
