As indicated, the effects of the steam bath on the o rganism are very similar
to the effe cts of the sauna; ho wever the sensations when ta king the t wo
types of baths are totally different.
To sum up, the effects of the steam bath are similar to that of the sauna, but
it has a g reater imp act on THE E
AIRWAYS BY HUMIDIFYING THEM AND SKIN HYDRATATION. Moreover
a session in a steam bath is much softer and more pleasant.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF STEAM BATH
The ste am b ath is a clo sed, wate rtight chamb er, de signed to be occupied
by several users either sitting or lying down. It is b uilt with a comb ination of
diverse m aterials, the common characteristic of which i s re sistance t o
oxidation an d heat. This chamb er in corporates electri cal eq uipment, the
main function of which is to generate and inject steam inside the booth and
automatically control and regulate the amount of steam and heat.
The correct temperature/humidity parameter in a steam bath is in intervals
(TEMPERATURE 43ºC-46ºC – HUMI DITY 100%). T he booth m ust always
contain steam mist on the inside so that it is always in contact with the user.
STEAM BATH CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEM
To obtain maximum p erformance with minimu m electri cal energy
consumption and e quipment p ower, it is ne cessary to b uild the booth
according to the instructions in the following diagrams.
Very important points:
Build a d ouble wall with th ermal insulation, in the maximum wall thickness
possible to avoid unn ecessary el ectricity con sumption and reduce th e
waiting time to reach the desired temperature.

Place asphalt fabric or similar material all over the floor and walls higher up
than the be nch. Co at the entire surfa ce with waterproof mo rtar in ord er to
prevent leaks to nearby rooms or lower floors.
