TROUBLESHOOTING
The desired temperature is obtained (40-50ºC, 105-122ºF),
but there is no steam in the bath
Cause: Ventilation too weak in the steam bath.
Measure to take: Increase ventilation. If the air output tip evacuates less than
10-20 m of air person and hours, the ventilation is insufficient. Opèn the air
regulation door.
Cause: The temperature of the bath input air is too high.
Measure to take: Lower the temperature to a maximum of 35ºC. If
necessary, channel the air from the outside the building, to the bath air
pressure tip.
Cause: The toom temperature where the steam bath is located is higher than
35º under normal circumstances.
Measure to take: Be sure that this temperature does not exceed 35º..
Cause: The thermomenter has broken down.
Measure to take: Place a mercury thermometer at the same height as the
inner bath probe and check that the temperature is correct, if not, replace the
control panel or temperature indicator.
The steam bath take too much time to heat up.
The approximate time from the start-up of the bath until steam begins to be
released is 15 minutes. After this time, it can take approximately 30 to 60
minutes to reach 45 degrees, depending on the installation.
Cause: The ventilation in the steam bath is excessive.
Measure to take: Decrease the ventilation until 10-20 m per person and hour.
Close the air trap and adjust.
Cause: The temperature in the steam bath is lower than 15º
Measure to take: Increase the heat or exchange the steam generator for a
more powerful model.
Cause: The resistance and the reboiler have an excessive layer of lime.
Measure to take: Clean the reboiler with a scale remover.
Cause: The resistance tubes have collapsed.
Measure to take: Check that the voltage reaches the electrical resistance
teminals. If the voltage reaches them correctly, check that the resistance has
not collapsed.
Absence of heat and the formation of steam
Cause: The control panel is not properly adjusted.
Measure to take: Monitor the programmed time and temperature on the
control panel.
Cause: Water does not reach the steam generator. Check that the N/0 (OUT)
luminous indicator is on.
Measure to take: Check that the water valve is open and there is pressure in
the mains.
Cause: The drain electrovalve is plugged in the open position.
Measure to take: Disassemble and clean the valve.
Cause: Incorrect voltage of the steam generator.
Measure to take: Check the generator installation.See connection diagrams.
Cause: The security thermostat has gone off. Check if the number 7(IN)
indicator is shut off..
Measure to take: Check and adjunt any problems with the steam tube such
as blockage due to overly pronounced elbows, water bags or a very small
inside diameter.
Cause: The level swith has broken down. Check if the indicator Number3 (IN)
is turned off and the number 4 (IN) turned on.
Measure to take: Replace the level switch.
Hot water comes out of the steam tip and very little or no
steam in the bath.
Cause: The filling electrovalve is blocked in a vertical position.
Measure to take: Check that the number 1 (out) luminous indicator is turned
off, if water continues coming out of the steam tip, replace the electrovalve.
