MACHINERY MAINTENANCE MANUAL
For the correct operation of the machinery, the steam generator must not be
supplied with water with a hardness higher than 3º French. If a water
network of this type is not available, you must install a recin decalcifier, with
enough capacity to absorb the lime in the water.
If you have carried out the installation according to our instructions,
maintenance is minimum.
Operation to be done once a month.
1. Press the differential switch test button to check that it goes off correctly.
2. Check that there is no water or steam leak from the security valve. It is
located on the steam pipe outlet.
3. Check the mains water is in the correct parameters with a hardness
analyzer.
4. Check that the decalcifier, if applicable, is full of salt and consumes it. If
you observe that the decalcifier does not consume salt, it is because it does
not work properly.
Sometimes the mains water not only contains lime residues. Depending on
the area it may contain other esidues which are not absorbed by the
decalcifier. It also may be possible that the decolcifier does not work
properly or there is a change in the water mains.
