STEAM BATH ASSEMBLY MANUAL
1. The steam piping should not have any curves or pronounced elbows.
2. The steam piping should not have any siphons, where ocndensed water
could remain, thus causing blockage in the pipe.
3. Air vents should be installed in steam baths that are non-stop for more
than an hour.
4. The electrical supply to the steam equipment must not be cut off and
therefore programmable switches or similar devices must not be installed.
5. The drainage piping has to be inclined all the way to the vertical drain
pipe.
6. The room temperature outside the steam bath can not be greater than 35
degrees.
7. The temperature probe shall be placed as far away as possible from the
steam outlet.
8. Conduct a water analysis before starting the equipment. If the water
hardness is higher than 4 french degrees, install a decalcifier.
9. Do not install the steam equipment whitout making the ground
connection.
Location of the machinery
The following requirements are necessary to position the machinery:
1. An enclosed-area measuring no less than 80 cm wide, 50 cm deep and
170 cm high.
2. The area where it is installed must be very dry and well-ventilated.
3. Do not install in mechanical rooms where corrosive products such as
chlorine, etc. Are used.
4. The equipment must be installed outside the booth, but as close to it as
possible and without the tube exceeding 15 meters.
5. The equipment must be installed in vertical position, completely level.
6. The equipment must be supported on the ground and attached to the wall
with plastic wall plugs and 4,5 x 60 mm stainless steel screws.
Before permanently installing the equipment, check that the drain outlet is
higher than the connection for it so that it may empty the generator correctly.
Electrical connection
The steam equipment is supplied with a differential switch, located on the
steam generator. Make the electrical connection while keeping in mind the
section of the line adjusting it to power of the generator, and the type of
current at the home or premises.
The electrical line has to be independent and protected with a thermal
magnetic circuit breaker with an intensity which is appropriate to the line.
The electrical cable for the mains line has to be of the Ho7VR-K type and with
an appropriate section for the necessary power.
When making the electrical connection, first connect the grounding cable and
then the active cables.
If you need to disconnect the line, first diconnect the active calbes and then
the grounding cables.
The equipment must have the grounding connection. If this is not connected,
there could be an electrical accident.
The line electrical supply can not be cut off until two hours after the service to
the bath has been stopped, as the generator does several drainages to avoid
the accumulation of mineral salts in the reboiler.
Therfore, do no install time clocks that can cut off the electrical supply.
Water connection
The steam equipment includes a ½ inch valve to be supplied with water. This
can be connected to the hot or cold water mains.
Before starting the equipment, rinse the pipes to prevent metallic residue
from entering the steam generator reboiler.
Before starting the equipment, conduct a water analysis to measure the
hardness. If it is above four french degrees, install a decalcifier.
