BATH CONSTRUCTION AND PRIOR INSTALLATIONS
To correctly build a steam bath, carefully follow the steps in this section.
Location of the machinery.
The following requirements are necessar to position the machinery.
1. An enclosed-area measuring no less than 80 cm wide, 50 cm deep and
170 cm high.
2. The are wheere it is installed must be very dry and well-ventilated.
3. Do not install in mechanical rooms where corrosive products such as
chlorine, etc. Are used.
4. The equipment must be installed outside the bath, but as close to it as
possible and whitout the tube exceeding 15 meters.
5. The equipment can be installed on a floor below the bath, if you request a
machine with an aroma dispensing pump See page 9 dispenser connection.
6. The euqpiment must be installed in vertical position, completely level.
7. The equipment must be supported on the ground and attached to the
wall.
Bath construction
To build the bath, refer to the constructive system section on page 2. Very
important points: the thermal insulation and floor and wall waterproofing.
Pitches and siphoned drain at the center of the bath.
To insert the entrace door, complete modules are available with a
prefabricated frame and glass door. Request the prefabricated frame to
insert when building the walls.
We also have glass modules available for moe luminosity in the baths.
Request the prefabricated frame.
Distribution of the benches. As a rule, the benches are built all along the
perimeter of the bath, except on the entrance wall to leave space to insert
the steam tip and air inlet. See page 7 and 8 Placement of the steam tip.
If the bath is very large, two rooms of benches can be built to occupy more
space and provide a greater user capacity. The correct height of the
benches is 45 cm high and 50 cm deep. WARNING give the benches a
pitch so that condensed water does not accumulate. See page 2.
The prefabricated or built-in ceilings.
To build the ceiling, you may choose between the prefabricated one or built-
in one. See characteristics and advantages of the prefabricated one on
page 3.
The most common ceiling are arched, but sometimes in large baths with a
lack of height, the 20% pitcs necessary for proper operation is not possible.
To solve this problem see page 5 and adapt to the best solution.
Choosing the equipment power.
To define the equipment power, we have to calculate the volume of the built
bath, multiply widthx depth x height =cubic meters. See equipment power
on page 20. These powers are calculated for built-in baths as indicated in
this manual, if this is not carried out this way, ther may be a delay in the
heating time.
Bath ventilation.
For bath air regeneration, an outside air outlet must be installed. This shall
be placed on the ceiling or on the upper part of the wall opposite the steam
tip.
The output pipe must be 90 mm in diameter and must be installed with a
pitch towards the inside of the bath, so as to not block it with the
condensation of the water steam.
If due to the distribution of the home or premise, it is impossible to lay a
pipe to the outside, we can supply a drop valve and place it in the
machinery closet or other room next to the bath. For this, a 5mm pipe is
must be installed from the wall of the steam bath to the room where the
valve is located, as high as possible. Said valve is equipped with a fan
through wi
Hich a 3x1 line pipe must be passed from the valve to the place where the
machinery is located.
An inlet fan must also be installed on the lower part of the bath. This fan
always come with the equipment. To attach it, a 90 mm pvc pipe must be
laid down as well as a 3x1 electrical line from the fan to the place where the
machinery is located. See position of the pan on page 8.
