Note: Do not clean the air filters. Replace the air filters
when it is necessary.
1. Open the 2 clamps (A) of the air filter housing (B)
and remove the air filter housing.

2. Replace the outer air filter (C) and the inner air filter
(D).

3. Install the new air filters in opposite sequence.
Note: If the 2 clamps of the air filter housing cannot
be closed, the outer air filter is not correctly installed.
To replace the filter for the carbon
monoxide detector
CAUTION: Do not operate the product with
the filter for the carbon monoxide detector
removed.
Note: Do not clean the filter for the carbon monoxide
detector. Replace the filter when it is necessary.

1. Remove the 2 screws and washers and remove the
cover.
2. Remove the plastic nut and replace the filter for the
carbon monoxide detector.
3. Install the new filter for the carbon monoxide
detector in opposite sequence.

To examine the spark plug

CAUTION: Always use the recommended
spark plug type. Incorrect spark plug type
can cause damage to the product.
Examine the spark plug if the engine is low on
power, is not easy to start or does not operate
correctly at idle speed.
To decrease the risk of unwanted material on the
spark plug electrodes, obey these instructions:
a) Make sure that the idle speed is correctly
adjusted.
b) Make sure that the fuel mixture is correct.
c) Make sure that the air filter is clean.
