Dimensional-Lumber Preset Stop
NOTICE: Maximum Capacity @45°
The dimensional-lumber preset stop sets the
depth of cut for dimensional 4x material at 0°
bevel and for 2x dimensional lumber at 45°
right bevel.
Rotate the thinner tab to the front (Fig 12). It
is easiest to move both the stops forward and
then move the larger depth-of-cut stop back.
Table Extensions
The tool has integrated extension tables on
each side of the base for added workpiece
support. The extensions will lock in only two
positions: closed and fully open. To change
the extension table position, press the table-
extension lock button and pull out or push
in the extension table. Release the table-
extension lock button and the extension table
will automatically lock in the closed or the
fully open position (Fig 13a, 13b).

unlocked position. The workpiece may not be
fully supported. If the extension table will not
lock, have the saw serviced.

WARNING
for the extension tables or as additional
support. Unstable support for the workpiece
can cause the blade to bind or the workpiece
to shift during the cutting operation, causing
you to contact the spinning blade.
The extension tables provide extra workpiece
support and are especially useful when cutting
long workpiece.
ADDITIONAL WORKPIECE SUPPORT
Long pieces need extra support. The base
height is 3-1/2 inches. Fasten two 2x4
pieces together (use the long side) or use
a piece of dimensional 4x material. Boards
of this thickness and height can be used to
create auxiliary support extensions for long
workpieces.
