 Refueling
Warning
Be sure to heed the following items to prevent fire.
 Be sure to stop the engine before refueling.
 Keep away the machine from ignition sources and the open flame when refueling.
 Add fuel carefully without spilling. When the fuel is spilled, wipe off immediately.
 After refueling, make sure that the fuel cap is secured to prevent spillage.
 Use automotive unleaded gasoline only. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline.
 Be sure to use the fuel filter screen when refueling to the fuel tank.
 For details, read the engine instruction manual carefully.
 Installation
Caution
 Keep people other than the operator away from the machine. Be careful particularly children and
animals.
 Keep the machine free of grease, gasoline, or flammables to avoid a fire hazard.
 Do not use the machine in a poorly ventilated location. Do not block the space around the machine
on the side of the exhaust port of the muffler.
 Do not place an object around the installed machine and always keep nearby area clear. Failure to
do so will cause a delay in the operation of the machine in the case of an emergency. It may cause
accidents.
 Must be installed this machine on a flat, level surface in a place not subject to splash and water
droplet during work. Keep a sufficient distance between the machine and the cleaning target.
 Do not drop or throw the machine during installation.
 Installing the water suction hose
Caution
 If the water suction hose is not connected completely or the hose is bent or crushed, air may be
sucked. In this case, water may not be suctioned, abnormal vibration may occur, or otherwise this
will damage the high-pressure seals and decrease the life of the pump.
 Make sure that before installing the water suction hose, gasket in the mounting thread is not lost or
damaged. Then screw the mounting thread until the end to the water suction port firmly.
Caution
 Do not touch the male thread at the connection part with bare hands. It may cause injuries. Wear
protective gloves when connecting the thread.
