9. Remove the water suction hose from the machine and reel it while wiping the surface clear of any soiling.
Drain water remaining in the hose when the hose is reeled in. Store the hose with care to not let mud
and dirt come into the connection parts.
10. Wipe off water droplets and mud attached to the machine.
11. Store the machine in a location not exposed to rain and wind. Be careful not to let dirt and other foreign
matters enter the water suction port and discharge port of the pump.
In winter, store the machine in a frost-free area.

Maintenance and Inspection

Caution
 To prevent injuries and accidents, be sure to inspect and maintain the machine on a level surface
under sufficient lighting after stopping the engine.
 If a particular inspection or maintenance must be performed with the engine running, be sure to
contact your Maruyama dealer. Doing that work by yourself may result in injuries or accidents.
 To keep the machine in a good condition at all times, perform maintenance and inspection regularly
according to the table below.

 Inspection/maintenance methods
 Changing pump oil
Caution
 Drain oil after waiting for the oil to cool sufficiently.
 Do not throw away or incinerate used oil. Dispose of used oil in a manner that is compatible with the
environment. Contact your Maruyama dealer or local recycling center for proper disposal.
 When checking or adding oil, be sure the machine is level. If not, oil may be overfilled or shortage
may occur. If oil amount is low, pump failure occurs.
1. Remove the oil drain and drain oil.
2. Add new oil from the oil filler port. Fill oil to the red mark at the center of the oil gauge.
MSW1012(CE), 1017(CE) --- Approx. 0.3 liter
MSW1515(CE) --- Approx. 0.4 liter
3. After filling oil, securely tighten the oil filler cap by hand.
 Maintain the engine after reading the engine instruction manual carefully.
