1.3 Qualifications
The fitting of a patient with the Ottobock Battery Moun-
ting Set 757Z103=* / 757Z149 may only be carried out
by a prosthetist.

2 Safety instructions

• Wear appropriate personal protective equip-
ment while laminating and mounting.
• Use the Patient Information section of this pam-
phlet (Section 3) to inform your patient about
the function and use of the battery receptacle.

3 Patientinformation

• Attention should be paid that no foreign particles
can get into the battery receptacle. The battery
receptacle should not be subjected to intense
smoke, dust, mechanical vibrations, shocks or
high temperatures.
• For faultless functioning, the electric contacts
of the battery connection cable in the battery
receptacle must be clean and free of grease.
The contacts can be cleaned with a dry cotton
swabs.
