MAINTENANCE
Periodically analyse combustion gases and check emissions val-
ues.
Periodically replace the diesel fuel filter when dirty.
Check that all components of the combustion head are in good
condition, have not been deformed by high temperatures and con-
tain no impurities or deposits from the installation environment or
from poor combustion; check the efficiency of electrodes.
If it is necessary to clean the outside of the combustion head, take
out its components according to the procedure described below:
•
Disconnect diesel fuel pipes 1 from their connectors (careful
of drips).
•
Slacken the screws 2 and remove the lid 3 (fig. 1).
•
Unscrew nut 4 on the inside of the scroll burner and remove
pawl 5 with screw 6 that regulates the position of the mixer
assembly (fig. 2).
important: Before carrying out the above procedure, store in
memory the exact position of the mobile plate marks 7 relative
to the reference on the scroll burner. Once the maintenance
operations have been completed, this will make it possible
to return the mixer assembly to the same position it was in
last time it was adjusted.
•
Remove screw 8 with its washer. Slightly raise the mixer unit
9 (fig. 3) then completely extract the unit itself following the
direction of the arrow 10, after pulling the ignition cables 11 out
of their electrodes
•
To complete the maintenance operations proceed with the
reassembly of the mixing unit by carrying out the above
operations in reverse order, after checking the ignition electrodes
and the deflector disk are correctly positioned (0002935430).
