7 Commissioning and
operation
7.1 Commissioning the VS with
module extension
Before commissioning the system, the following steps
must have been carried out and completed:
W
You have mounted the valve terminal, the bus
coupler, and the required module extensions (see
"Assembling the HF03 LG and HF04 with bus coupler
and module extension" on page 70 and "Assembling
the stand-alone system with bus coupler and module
extension" on page 70).
W
You have connected the bus coupler and the module
extensions (see "Connecting the modules electrically"
on page 79), checked the presettings and the
configuration (see operating instructions for your bus
coupler and "Selecting the module configuration" on
page 74).
W
You have configured the bus master so that it controls
the valves and the inputs correctly.
W
You have carried out the diagnostic test on the bus
coupler.
Commissioning may only be carried out by qualified
electrical or pneumatic personnel or an instructed
person under the direction and supervision of
qualified personnel (see "Personnel qualifications" on
page 57).
