1. TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
The machine may be transported in a container or by truck. In both cases, the same kind of packing is used. ( See table of
dimensions and weight .)
The packing containing the machine should be transported protected from the weather. It is strictly prohibited to put any
other packing cases or materials on the machine packing. The packing case should be handled with extreme care. The packing
case should be hoisted from below, by a fork-lift truck or transpallet, making sure that the lifting device is used as shown
below ( Fig.1 )
During handling operations, keep the load as close to the ground as possible, for greater stability.
Handling and hoisting operations should be carried out by authorized specialist personnel using suitable equipment.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any injury or damage resulting from failure to comply with current safety regulations
governing the hoisting and handling of materials inside and outside the factory.
2. STORAGE
The packing case containing the machine must be kept out of the weather and it is strictly prohibited to place any other case
or materials on it.
3. GOODS-IN CONTROLS
It is important to check the goods on their arrival. The controls should include:
1. packing case number
2. weight and dimensions
3. the details on the transport documents should tally with the goods sent
4. check for damage to goods or packing
5. packing case undamaged during transportation.
If there is no damage, remove the packing as specified below ( see para. 4 / section 3 )
In the event of damage, irregularities or non-compliances, notification should be sent within 8 days of
receipt of the goods. Failing this, the goods will be deemed as having been accepted.
