Setting the Index Numbers

To set the group index number
To set the device index number
When you connect multiple projectors in your system, you have to set the
group index and device index numbers for each projector.
If you set the same group index number to multiple projectors and
switchers, you can operate them simultaneously, for example, to select the
input, by designating the group index number.

Set the projector to the pro-user mode.
For details, see "Menu Modes" on page 27

Display the SET SETTING 2 menu, select GROUP INDEX by
pressing the v or V key, and press the ENTER key.

Set a group index number 1 to 99 by pressing the B or b key, then
press the ENTER key.

Press the MENU key to exit the menu mode.
If you set the device index number, you can control each projector
individually with the supplied remote commander.
Set the device index number with the DEVICE INDEX switches on the
rear of the projector. Device index number "01" is set at the factory. Do
not change from "01" if the projector is used alone.
